"The quality of this watch is obvious from the moment you strap it to your wrist. The digital display illuminates not by a backlight screen, but by the individual digit! The rugged design and reassuringly sturdy analogue time setting dial screams out ‘I’m going to last’ But this is not for those who like a sleek, slim-line design. This watch is ‘bulky’ but only to the extent that a man’s watch is, and it remains stylish, with the two-shaded, textured rubber strap blending into the metal bound body like the materials were meant to belong. The deep inset display remains clearly readable in the background of the two, gold outlined clock hands. The date is displayed in the top left corner and the day cleverly highlighted on a strip across the top arch of the digital display. The mulitifunctionality of this Extreme watch is a joy to discover, or you could cheat and read the comprehensible manual that comes with it, but where is the fun in that?
In short, a reasonable price for a rugged yet stylish beauty that you know, simply from the craftsmanship, is a beast that will last" |
