Ninkasi Chardonnay Aged Whiskey

After several ephemeral editions, here is Ninkasi's first permanent Single Malt Whisky. This is Ninkasi Whiskey aged in Chardonnay barrels, a whiskey brewed, distilled and aged in Tarare, where the distillery & beer factory is located. It comes from a brew of French malted barley. The eau-de-vie obtained after a slow distillation in their pot stills is then barreled in French oak barrels, as well as in ex-barrels of French wines having contained Chardonnay and Viognier. It will mature for more than 3 years, before being assembled and slowly reduced with fresh water from Tarare until it reaches 46% alc. flight.

For festive meals we advise you to associate Whiskey aged in Chardonnay barrels with: A lobster tail in the oven Lamb tagine with prunes A Bourdaloue tart with almond cream and flambéed pears with whiskey of course!
