The 44 months of ageing have produced a spirit of great smoothness, offering layers of aromatic complexity that reveal themselves elegantly on the palate. This exceptional whisky is a blend of six casks of Pineau des Charentes, two casks of Muscat de Rivesaltes and one new cask. It has been matured in both dry and wet cellars, allowing a complex interplay of flavours.

Slightly rancio, rancid butter, dried fruit, almond paste. Then opens up with aromas of smoked bacon and leather, finishing with notes of burnt sugar and a hint of menthol.

The attack is straightforward, the whisky is round, fat, full-bodied and well-defined. The mid-palate is opulent but not devoid of nervousness.
