Board a comfortable air-conditioned coach and head to the Fondation Claude Monet in Giverny. Once there, explore the site freely, beginning with Monet’s house. Learn more about the artist’s life in the home where he lived until his death, and admire rooms such as the “blue room” reading area, the bright yellow dining room decorated with Japanese prints, and his private apartments. Continue to the former studio, now a gift shop, offering a range of souvenirs inspired by his work. Then, enhance your visit with audio commentary as you wander through the gardens that inspired some of Monet’s most famous paintings. Follow flower-lined paths bursting with color, discover the Clos Normand with its diverse plant varieties, and cross the iconic Japanese bridge in the water garden.
