Your morning is devoted to a guided visit of Claude Monet's Gardens, followed by time to explore the home and studio of the celebrated painter Claude Monet. After a delightful lunch, continue your day with a guided tour of the magnificent Palace of Versailles, led by a knowledgeable guide passionate about French history. The journey to Giverny aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned coach takes about an hour and a half. Step into Monet’s artistic world, where he drew inspiration from his own gardens to create masterpieces such as the Water Lilies and the Japanese Bridge. Monet lived here with his family for over four decades, from 1883 until 1926, carefully designing both his flower garden and water garden as living works of art. During your visit, admire the vibrant flower beds of the Clos Normand, filled with a variety of colorful and exotic plants, and the peaceful water garden, famous for its lily-covered pond and elegant Japanese bridge. You will then have free time to explore Monet’s charming pink house (interior guided tours are not permitted due to limited space). Wander through the reading room, pantry, and the artist’s studio, all restored with original furnishings. Discover the bright yellow dining room and the blue-tiled kitchen, meticulously recreated, and admire the impressive collection of Japanese prints displayed throughout the house. Before leaving, take time to stroll through the village and browse the gift and book shop, located in what was once Monet’s Water Lilies studio, offering a variety of items inspired by his work. After your visit to Giverny, enjoy a delicious lunch at the nearby Le Moulin de Fourges, where local cuisine is served with a creative twist. In the afternoon, continue to the Palace of Versailles and its stunning gardens. Spanning more than 721,000 square feet and featuring over 700 rooms, the palace is a true masterpiece of French heritage. Skip the lines with your guide and explore its most remarkable spaces, including the King’s Apartments, composed of seven salons dedicated to different deities, and the Queen’s Apartments. You will also visit the spectacular Hall of Mirrors, designed by the renowned architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart. Nearly 240 feet long, this dazzling gallery—illuminated by 17 windows and lined with 350 mirrors—was created to impress visitors of King Louis XIV and offers breathtaking views over the gardens. Conclude your visit with free time to wander through the Gardens of Versailles, where you can admire fountains, sculptures, groves, and beautifully landscaped flower beds. Your return to Paris is scheduled for around 6:00 pm
