The signature cuvée of the House of Taittinger. A blend of 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier sourced from more than 40 crus and several harvests. Its high proportion of Chardonnay, unique among the great non-vintage champagnes, and a minimum of three years' ageing in the cellar give it remarkable balance and consistently exceptional quality. Aged 3 to 4 years in the cellars; ageing potential of 5 years or more.

Bright, golden straw colour, with fine bubbles and an abundant, persistent foam.

Open and expressive, initially revealing white flower aromas such as acacia with warm, honeyed notes, followed by the more mellow scent of hawthorn. With aeration, fruity notes of yellow peach, mirabelle plum and apricot emerge, with a final touch of fresh vanilla.

A lively yet melting attack; the wine expresses great finesse, fluidity and balance on the mid-palate. Rich flavours dominated by brioche, honey and vanilla. The finish is infinitely supple, full-bodied and long, marked by a warm note of lightly roasted slivered almonds.
