Eiffel Tower address and easy ways to get there

The Eiffel Tower stands on the Champ de Mars at 5 Avenue Anatole France, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. The monument anchors the heart of the capital and can be spotted from a distance, which makes it one of the easiest landmarks in the city to locate. Whether you arrive on foot or by public transport, several routes lead straight to it.

Reaching the tower by metro and RER
Metro and RER lines are the ideal way to cross Paris without losing time to traffic. If you enter the Eiffel Tower address into a navigation app, it may suggest one of the following stations. On metro line 6, Bir-Hakeim is the nearest stop. Line 8 serves École Militaire, within walking distance of the monument. The RER C line stops at Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel, just a few minutes away on foot.

Reaching the tower by bus
If you prefer to travel above ground, the bus is a pleasant option. Several lines serve the area, with no fewer than five stops close to the Iron Lady. Lines 42, 82, 87, and 69 all set you down near the tower, at stops named Tour Eiffel or Champ de Mars depending on the route.
